At Geaux Drip IV Bar, we prioritize your health and safety. Before initiating any IV therapy, we require all new clients to undergo a Good Faith Examination (GFE). This brief telemedicine consultation allows our licensed healthcare professionals to assess your medical history and current health status, ensuring that our IV therapy services are both safe and tailored to your specific needs.
What is a Good Faith Examination (GFE)?
A GFE is a concise telehealth appointment, typically lasting between 3 to 5 minutes. During this session, you'll discuss your health history, current symptoms, and any concerns with our medical team. This information enables us to create a personalized IV therapy plan optimized for your well-being. Once completed, the GFE remains valid for one full calendar year, unless there are significant changes in your medical history.

Why is a GFE Required?
State regulations mandate a GFE to protect patients and ensure that all medical treatments, including IV therapy, are administered safely and responsibly. This examination allows our healthcare providers to confirm that IV therapy is appropriate for you and to address any potential health concerns prior to treatment.
What to Expect During Your GFE
The GFE is a quick and convenient telehealth appointment. During this session, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your health history and any symptoms or concerns you may have. This helps our team create a personalized IV therapy plan that's optimized for your well-being.
How is the Cost Covered?
The cost of the Good Faith Examination is accounted for through a slight increase in service pricing. This ensures that our licensed medical professionals can provide thorough and responsible care while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

The Importance of Implementing GFEs
Implementing GFEs is not just about complying with legal requirements; it's about ensuring that every treatment we provide is safe and tailored to your unique health needs. By completing a GFE, you're taking an important step toward receiving the most effective and personalized IV therapy possible.

Please be aware that the Good Faith Exam (GFE) or Pre-IV Exam is required by law to determine whether you are a suitable candidate for IV therapy. This exam does not guarantee that the IV service will be provided, as it is designed to assess your eligibility based on your health status. Please note that this is a non-refundable charge, regardless of the outcome of the exam.
